About
Wags & Garland was founded by Stephanie, a French bulldog owner with over 20 years of special event planning experience for the NBA and MLB. She launched the company in 2018 to combine her event expertise with her passion for animals, building a team trained in canine safety and pet first aid to serve couples throughout the Pacific Northwest.
How It Works
Couples submit an inquiry form and then discuss details via email or phone, after which a custom timeline and personalized quote are created. A complimentary meet and greet visit with the dog is included before the wedding day, and the team handles all logistics from transport to vendor communication on the day itself.
Limited availability in Seattle and Tacoma. Available for destination bookings with travel fees. 50% retainer required to reserve date; remaining 50% due one week before the event.

The first full hour of round-trip travel is complimentary, then $25 per additional half hour.
Wedding Day Pet Care
$120/hourFull-day professional dog handling including pre-event neighborhood walk, safe transport to/from venue, ceremony escort, photo coordination, guest interactions, behind-the-scenes footage, and end-of-evening pupdate.
Proposals, Engagement Sessions & Elopements
$100/hourProfessional pet handler assistance for proposals, engagement photo sessions, and elopements. Includes pre-shoot exercise, treats and water, toy handling for photos, and coordination with photographer.

Do you only provide services for dogs?
All pets of any shape, size, and temperament are welcome. The team will help determine the best way to include each pet in the special day.
How do I book services for my wedding?
Submit an inquiry form through the contact page to begin the conversation. After discussing consultation questions, a custom timeline and quote will be provided for review.
Is a deposit required to reserve a wedding date?
A 50% retainer is required to reserve the date, with the remaining 50% balance due one week before the wedding day.
What is the cancellation and postponement policy?
The 50% retainer is non-refundable as it reserves the agreed date and time. If a force majeure event such as a pandemic or natural disaster prevents the event from being held, the retainer transfers to the rescheduled date at no extra cost.
Will you transport our pet to the venue?
Yes. The team will pick up the pet from home, a hotel, Airbnb, or doggie daycare, bring them to the venue, and return them home afterward, providing dinner and a walk before the end-of-evening pupdate.
Can you accommodate guests who cannot be around our pet?
Yes. Services can be customized to fit the comfort level of the couple, family members, and all wedding guests.
Will you work with our wedding planner and photographer?
Absolutely. The team communicates and coordinates with vendors, updates timelines to include the dog's itinerary, and remains flexible with changing wedding schedules.
Where are you located and what areas do you serve?
Services are available throughout the Pacific Northwest. Primary areas include Portland and surrounding areas, the Columbia River Gorge, Hood River, McMinnville, Salem, Eugene, Mt. Hood, Astoria, the Oregon Coast, and southern Washington State. Destination bookings are also available.
