About
Kurchi Basu started Pawsitive Moments in 2021 after helping friends bring their dogs to weddings and realizing she had a real talent for it. With experience caring for over 50 dogs of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs — including high-energy puppies and camera-shy seniors — she approaches each wedding with the calm confidence of someone who's been there many times before. A portion of every booking benefits Rescued Pets Movement in Houston, so working with Pawsitive Moments also supports local animal welfare.
How It Works
It starts with a complimentary meet-and-greet (or engagement shoot!) where Kurchi gets to know your pet's personality, energy level, and any special needs before your wedding day. On the day itself, she handles transportation, manages your dog's participation in the ceremony and photos, keeps them calm during the busiest moments, and — when the celebration is over — makes sure they get safely home or to boarding. You focus on getting married; she focuses on your dog.

The full-day Premier Paws package covering up to 3 pets and 7 hours is custom-quoted.

Can we schedule a trial run or rehearsal?
Absolutely! We highly recommend a meet-and-greet session or including your pet in the wedding rehearsal. This helps your pet get familiar with the environment and their role, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the big day. Two of our packages include engagement session care as well.
