Laughing Dogs is run by Debby, a longtime Vermont pet professional with more than 30 years of grooming and animal care experience, including time as a veterinary assistant. After helping a dog hiking client with their dog being included in their wedding weekend celebration, she realized what a huge help it was! She now specializes in wedding dog escorting, catering to the needs of every couple and their dog- each being unique! Services include rehearsal, transportation, feeding, brushing, photographs, wedding, reception, feeding, overnight care. The goal is for you to relax knowing that your dog is being well cared for and will be brought to wherever you want when you want. Debby loves what she does and the dogs sense how much she loves them too!
How It Works
Debby starts by having you share your wedding plans and your hopes for including your dog. It's important for her to get a sense of your dog's personality. Typically, there will be a video meeting to see if everyone feels it will be a good fit. She'll then email a recap of what is understood to be the plan, along with pricing. There is plenty of opportunity for you to make changes and add details. If agreed to, a deposit is required to hold the dates. For the event, she handles whatever is needed — feeding, exercise, brushing, transport between venues, and overnight stays — so your dog can show up calm and you can stay focused on the celebration.
