About

Family Dog Obedience and Training is led by Abby Taylor, who holds certification from Animal Behavioral College and serves as an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She is also the southeastern trainer for Errorless Service Dogs, LLC, and mentors aspiring trainers through CATCH Canine Trainers Academy — bringing a rare depth of professional expertise to every dog in her care.

How It Works

Abby works with you and your dog ahead of the wedding to build the training and confidence they'll need for their big moment. On the day itself, she transports your pup to the venue, manages their comfort throughout, escorts them down the aisle, and at the end of the celebration takes them home or welcomes them into her own home for a cozy overnight stay.

  • The Your Pups Plus One package covers the full day: transport to the venue, day-of handling, and overnight boarding so you can enjoy the entire evening without logistics hanging over you

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the wedding training packages and the Your Pups Plus One service?

The training packages — like Wags Down the Aisle — prepare your dog in the weeks before the wedding, building the confidence and manners they'll need for the ceremony. Your Pups Plus One is the day-of service: Abby transports your dog to the venue, handles their care throughout the celebration, and takes them home for an overnight stay when the evening winds down.

Can you help if my dog is not fully trained yet?

Yes — that is actually where Family Dog excels. Abby specializes in puppy development and behavior modification, so if your dog is still working on basic manners or has anxiety around crowds, she can create a custom pre-wedding training plan to get them ready for the big day.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes — Family Dog Obedience and Training offers discounts for military families, first responders, doctors, nurses, and teachers. Mention your profession when you reach out to learn more about eligibility.
