Hitched & Leashed is owned by Katie and Anthony Falette, a married couple based in Carlsbad who started the business after struggling to find trustworthy wedding-day care for their own dog. Their setup is intentionally personal, with around-the-clock supervision available through Katie's work-from-home schedule and a home environment designed for close oversight. Their experience as recent newlyweds also gives them a practical understanding of how pets fit into the flow of a wedding weekend.
How It Works
The process starts with an inquiry, followed by a questionnaire about your pet and wedding plans to see whether the fit is right. Then Katie and Anthony schedule a local meet-and-greet or Zoom call to go over logistics, compatibility, and the kind of care you want. On the wedding day, they handle exercise, transport, ceremony support, photo assistance, breaks, meals, and any overnight care needed after the festivities.
